National Bird Week

It’s National Bird Week from October 18-24 and you can get involved by participating in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count.

Now in it’s 8th year, the count aims to understand what birds are where by asking people to note down which birds they see in a 20 minute period in their back yard.

This can be in your actual back yard, or while you out walking in the bush, or along the beach.

The Aussie Backyard Bird Count is one of Australia’s biggest citizen science events.
