EOIs open: Swamp Stewardships

Do you have a farm in the North Eastern Volcanic Plains area with swamps or wetlands on your property?

Expressions of Interest are now open to support landholders wanting to know more about these wet areas of their farm, how to manage them, and how to be paid to support them.

Glenelg Hopkins CMA’s Our Catchments Our Communities (OCOC) project can help financially through partnerships to support stewardship of seasonal swamps.

Funding is available to farmers who own property in the North Eastern Volcanic Plains area (see map) to manage their seasonal swamps. The support is for assessing and better understanding the swamps on your farm through to stewardship agreements with financial incentives for swamp management and/or restoration.

Interested in learning more? Complete the expression of interest form by 5pm Friday, 10 April, 2026 and a CMA representative will be in touch to discuss the opportunities for your farm.
